Last month we had 29.2% fewer properties sold than in March 2022 but a 28.3% increase from February 2023. Sales of condos were down 29.4% from March 2022 with only 197 units sold. Sales of single family homes decreased 31.8% from March 2022 with 281 sold.

In December only 320 properties sold in the Victoria Real Estate Region which is a 16.7% decrease from November. There were 1,688 active listings for sale at the end of December 2022, a decrease of 20% compared to the previous month of November but a 158.9% increase from the mere 652 active listings for sale at the end of December 2021.

A slight uptick in sales and inventory in October since last month. A total of 480 properties sold in the Victoria Real Estate Board this October, a 17.1% increase from September 2022 but 35.6% fewer than the 745 properties sold in October 2021.
